Today I'm sharing my thrifty Valentine's Day mantel! Please ignore the ugly ceiling fan...didn't think about that being in every picture I took when I hung the mirror!
I mostly used what I already had. I spent 24 cents on the red plastic charger on clearance from Christmas, $2 on pink and red heart picks at Dollar Tree, and $2.44 on Valentine's ribbon at Wally World for a grand total of $4.68. :)
I already had the little juniper "trees" from Christmas so I just wrapped burlap up around them, tied the burlap with a bow out of the cute Valentine ribbon, and added some heart picks to finish their makeover.
The angel is one from my collection...I have a whole cabinet of them that I have collected over the last 10 years or so.
And one more close up...
Have you done any decorating for Valentine's Day? You can see a little more inspiration in my post from yesterday Bifocals and Valentine's Day Decor.
Take care,
Amy
I'm partyin' here...
