Christmas Tree "Pinspiration"

Hey all! Have you started decorating for Christmas yet? My daughter and I brought out some totes full of goodies tonight and got started on our tree. We have had a tree dilemma ever since we moved into our current home. It has tall ceilings and an open floor plan, which I do love, but there isn't a perfect spot for a tree. Our Christmas tree we have had for years is very wide and there just isn't a spot for it. My mom gave me a tree she didn't want anymore (don't worry about her, she has an abundance of Christmas trees!) to use this year because we just can't find the right tree to purchase. What we need is a 9-foot tree that is skinny and I haven't been able to find one. I took my "free" tree and stood it on a couple of crates to give it more height. I discovered that I need more lights and garland so I'm not ready for the reveal yet, but I think some Christmas tree "Pinspiration" is definitely in order (especially for those who might need a little friendly "nudge" to get ya going this year!).

First of all, do you follow me on Pinterest? If not, you can find my Pinterest button at the top left hand side of my blog. Just click on it and it will take you to my Pinterest boards. You can follow just the ones that speak to you or all of them. I hope to see you there!

Do you put a tree in your kitchen? Look at this one...

I think it would make a great kitchen tree with all its fruit and berries. Short on space?
Think about a super skinny tree or a tree in a flower pot or urn like this one!

How about this sweet little table top tree all done in red and white?

I'm digging these trees in flower pots (pun intended!) I'm thinking I might need (wink, wink) one of them.  Hmmm, I have a flower pot I bought at a garage sale last year and a can of spray paint...
more on that later if I get around to it!

Do you have a love of woodland creatures and nature? How about doing a tree like this one...

Do you see the feathers in the top of the tree instead of a traditional tree topper?
Don't be afraid to think outside the box to come up with a beautiful, thrifty tree topper.

Does something elegant better suit your style? Feast your eyes on this gorgeous tree...

It's a stunner, isn't it? The tree's shade of green with the silver decorations is breathtaking!

Love the beach? Here is a Christmas tree for you!

I like the pastel color palette along with the sailboat and seashell ornaments...so sweet!

What are your plans for your tree this year? What's your favorite color scheme? Do you prefer store bought ornaments or hand made?

Have a wonderful day!

Amy
